Job Title: Hedge Fund Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hedge Fund Operations Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our Trading Operations team, you will be responsible for providing front-to-back trade support for our cross-asset trading activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front-to-back trade capture, trade affirmations, matching/allocations, and trade enrichment (covering settlements, reconciliations)
  • Managing trade life cycle events, including coupon payments, rate re-sets, options, expires, and credit events
  • Providing trade and ops risk management services to the business
  • Collaborating with PMs and Traders to service trading flow and resolve challenging trading queries
  • Face-off to external counterparties and manage trade life cycle events

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in Trading Operations derived from a Tier 1 Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, or Asset/Investment Manager
  • Strong Excel VBA skills, with the ability to create and edit VBA macros
  • Object-oriented programming skills in Python
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
