Care and Support Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team at the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for promoting and ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents, in compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support services.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Provide leadership and guidance to care staff to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of NVQ/QCF Level 2 Award in Health and Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience caring for older people, people with disabilities, or people with mental health needs.
- Experience in ordering, receiving, administering, and storage of medication.
- Availability for flexible hours working, including weekends, and willingness to work beyond normal shift patterns.
- Willingness to maintain registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
- Ability to work within the Christian ethos of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
