Senior Payroll Administrator Job Description

At XPS Pensions, we are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join our team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in running end-to-end payroll processes and managing a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and execute end-to-end payroll, including data entry and other tasks allocated by the team.
  2. Gather data and information from various sources and perform basic analysis activities.
  3. Perform standard and non-standard payroll tasks independently and efficiently.
  4. Communicate effectively with Pension Administration team members regarding payroll and pensioner queries.
  5. Assist senior colleagues on ongoing payroll projects and business development activities.
  6. Support new staff members and provide training to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in running end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients or large volumes.
  • Strong maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification - minimum grade C or level 4.
