Job Title: MEP Commissioning Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Commissioning Lead to join our team at Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading commissioning activities, ensuring health and safety for all stakeholders, and championing our Health & Safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead commissioning activities with a strong focus on health and safety.
  2. Champion our Health & Safety policies and integrate them into daily discussions and decision-making.
  3. Oversee Energy Isolations and Lock Out Tag Out procedures during commissioning activities.
  4. Attend Factory Acceptance Testing and ensure all documentation is meticulously prepared.
  5. Maintain an issues resolution log and track and close all commissioning-related items.
  6. Manage the setup and closure of the Commissioning plan for each project.
  7. Oversee the Commissioning Tagging process and procedures.
  8. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with CSA and MEP Quality standards.
  9. Collaborate closely with project stakeholders and ensure they have the information they need to progress effectively.
  10. Lead weekly/daily commissioning meetings and provide progress reports.
  11. Manage subcontractor activities and ensure alignment with project schedules and specifications.
  12. Compile and verify all Testing and Commissioning documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  1. A degree in Building Services, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant trade background.
  2. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a site-based MEP Commissioning role.
  3. Extensive knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems and commissioning practices.
  4. Proven experience working on hyperscale Data Centres.
  5. Excellent IT skills to navigate the digital landscape of our projects.
