**Job Title:** Commissioning Lead - MEP Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead - MEP Specialist to join our team at ICDS (UK) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commissioning activities for MEP systems, ensuring they are completed safely and efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Align commissioning activities with project requirements and ensure they are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Lead by example, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of company-specific Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure full adoption and compliance with Energy Isolations and Lock Out Tag Out procedures during all commissioning activities onsite.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Testing as per project requirements and produce all associated documentation.
  • Maintain an issues resolution log around all commissioning activities and track all items to successful closure.
  • Manage the setup and closing out of the Commissioning plan for the project.
  • Manage the Commissioning Tagging process and procedures.
  • Have full working knowledge of the project Electrical/Mechanical systems.
  • Manage the development of project-specific Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs).
  • Complete site inspections during commissioning.
  • Coordinate that rooms/areas meet the relevant CSA and MEP Quality standards for advanced Beneficial Use.
  • Ensure stakeholders receive sufficient information to progress commissioning in line with the construction program.
  • Review the master construction schedule to identify opportunities and sequencing in line with the commissioning scope.
  • Chair weekly/daily commissioning meetings and direct commissioning activities as required.
  • Issue weekly progress reports on all commissioning activities.
  • Manage sub-contractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
  • Manage relevant client and contractor vendors to ensure specifications are met and commissioned within the required process.
  • Compile all Testing and Commissioning Documentation, verifying and signing off on all results.
  • Review and ensure system commissioning stakeholders produce necessary items, including:
    • Construction and Commissioning Programs reflective of the Master Construction Schedule.
    • Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
    • All relevant Field and Vendor turnover/handover packs as required by the project.

**Requirements:**

  • 3rd Level Building Services/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background.
  • Minimum 5 years plus experience in a site-based MEP Commissioning role.
  • Extensive Commissioning knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Experience working on hyperscale Data Centers.
  • Excellent IT skills.
