Strategic Finance Business Partner

Keeler Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join their team. This role will focus on working closely with Profit Centre Managers to develop robust contract/project costing models, ensure accurate monthly updates, and support financial reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial deliverables across multiple projects, working alongside various departments, and leading financial analysis for strategic decision-making.
A key element of the role will involve developing the financial structures and reporting systems to create efficiencies and scalable solutions in all day-to-day finance activities, capable of meeting the business's challenges and ambitions. The role requires a sound understanding of consolidated accounts and system proficiency to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Profit Centre Managers to develop and update project costing models.
- Manage monthly financial deliverables to ensure projects remain on target.
- Review and manage all project and contract accruals.
- Create and maintain accounting policies.
- Lead the financial aspects of tender cycles, ensuring both financial and operational requirements are met.
- Work with legal teams to ensure contracts are compliant with financial and legal standards.
- Provide financial insight for company strategy and decision-making.
- Manage dynamic financial models for budgeting, P&L, and cash flow.
- Oversee monthly financial reporting and work with various stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Evaluate financial risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong background in a busy office environment interacting with management teams.
- Extensive experience in financial project delivery and business modelling.
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial awareness, with an ability to make informed decisions that align with business objectives.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, working autonomously to meet deadlines and targets.
- IT Proficiency: Strong IT skills, particularly with Office applications and company systems.
