About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Care Trainer to join our team at HIT Training. As an Adult Care Trainer, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of care professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training and education to adult care apprentices in their care homes and online.
  • Utilize your industry expertise to train and mentor apprentices, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the care sector.
  • Meet with apprentices and employers to discuss learning needs, provide feedback, and develop relationships.
  • Explain the importance of English and maths in care, supporting apprentices with their functional skills.
  • Visit employers and provide feedback on apprentices' skills, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Complete administrative and planning tasks, utilizing Google Suite and internal platforms and systems.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience at Care Manager, Registered Manager, or Deputy Care Manager level.
  • A Level 5 qualification in Adult Care (or similar).
  • A good grasp of technology and administrative skills.
  • Have, or be willing to work towards, a Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and maths.
  • A valid Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your region.
