Fire Trainer

As the Fire Safety Trainer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality fire safety training to staff across the organisation to ensure compliance with Trust fire policies and protocols. You will work closely with the Fire Safety Team to develop, deliver, and evaluate fire safety training programmes, providing guidance and advice to staff at all levels. Your responsibilities will also include developing and maintaining up-to-date training materials, staying informed about changes in legislation, policies & procedures, and ensuring that all training is delivered in a timely and effective manner.

- Responsible for providing fire training and advice to managers and staff in the Trust
- Organises, records, and provides appropriate training for different roles and responsibilities
- Inputs and supports the Trust's Fire Safety Strategy and Policy
- Organises and records fire evacuation drills in both clinical and non-clinical areas
- Provides specific training for Local Fire Wardens, the use of evacuation equipment, the operation of emergency evacuation lifts, and the use of fire suppression tools
- Assists with the review and implementation of the fire safety e-learning package.
