About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a specialist school in Oldham that supports students aged 5-19 years old with significant trauma-informed behaviour.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting children aged 5+ years old with a number of additional behavioural needs, often classed as complex. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide one-to-one and small group support to our students.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children with complex needs
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- GCSE Maths and English
- Computer literacy
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year
Benefits
This role offers a competitive daily rate of £95, full-time hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only), and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must hold a Right to Work in the UK, an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, and two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years.
