Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Protection Assessment Consultant to join our team at Canada Life Group (UK) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing customer health declarations and providing expert guidance on protection products.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide expert guidance on protection products and assess customer health declarations.
  • To develop and maintain knowledge of underwriting manuals and processes.
  • To stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in market trends.
  • To work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality service and achieve agreed-upon standards.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of GR1 or equivalent industry-recognised qualification.
  • Experience of working within a Medical Underwriting Team and making accurate risk assessments from customer health declarations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all types of customers and contribute to a team delivering service excellence.
  • Able to work to deadlines and manage own workload, prioritising cases when required.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
