Assessment Consultant for Building Materials

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.

UKAS is seeking an experienced Assessment Consultant to join our team. As a specialist in building materials, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality assessments and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

About the Role:

This is a full-time contract position, covering the UK. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of pre-cast concrete products, ready-mix concrete applications, clay and ceramic products, and glass products. They will also possess experience in auditing or assessments, familiarity with relevant standards such as ISO 17065, ISO 17020, and ISO 17021.

  • We require candidates with a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Material Science, although this is not mandatory; relevant vocational qualifications are accepted.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate expertise in sectors such as building control, product certification, and production, supported by relevant qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
