Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Trainee Specialist to join our team at Davies. As a key member of our Binding Authority Management Team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the management process of insurance transactions on behalf of our clients.

About the Role:

As an Insurance Trainee Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Updating and maintaining monitoring spreadsheets to ensure accurate data entry and analysis.
  • Inputting accurate data into our systems to support our clients' needs.
  • Responding to client enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complying with internal and external regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Triaging and processing all new information and correspondence to ensure seamless communication.
  • Working closely with brokers and third parties to obtain accurate information and support our clients' needs.
  • Undertaking ad-hoc project work and other relevant duties as required to support the team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry or a regulated environment.
  • Previous experience working in an office environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to interpret and manipulate data clearly and accurately, with the ability to extract and identify key issues.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines within a team environment, with strong motivational, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
