As a Venue Sales and Servicing Manager at Fairmont Château Laurier, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, executing events, and delivering exceptional customer service. About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the sales process for groups, working closely with the Restaurant General Managers and Venues culinary team to ensure successful events, and assisting the Food & Beverage leadership team with administrative tasks. You will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. Responsibilities
* Manage group reservations and plan events to meet client expectations
* Collaborate with the Restaurant General Managers and Venues culinary team to prepare for events
* Develop new business opportunities for all restaurants
* Support the Food & Beverage leadership team in administrative tasks, including payroll, event preparation, and menu formatting
* Analyze data and create strategies for improvement

Requirements
* Previous leadership experience in restaurants or a related field
* Proven track record in event planning, sales, or convention services
* Strong culinary and beverage knowledge
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and create strategies for improvement
* Results-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
* Previous experience in a unionized environment an asset
* Bilingual in both official languages is an asset

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.
