Role Overview

This role is responsible for delivering the development of interpretation for the library's temporary, touring and permanent exhibitions programme. As an Exhibitions Manager, you will develop interpretation content, working with internal project management, curatorial, loans and conservation teams as well as external design and AV contractors.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an Exhibitions Manager. The successful candidate will have experience of developing interpretation for temporary exhibitions in the cultural sector. This position involves managing contractors engaged in the development of interpretation and requires some work outside of standard working hours, as well as occasional travel.

What We Offer

In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary of £33,600 per annum, plus a range of excellent benefits. Our pension scheme is one of the most valuable benefits we offer, as our staff can become members of the Alpha Pension Scheme where the Library contributes a minimum of 28.97%. We also provide a flexible working hours scheme which could allow you to work your hours flexibly over the week and to take up to 5 days flexi leave in a 3 month period. This is on top of 25 days holiday from entry and public and privilege holidays.
