About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Development Engineer to join our Salesforce platform team in Nottingham, UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain core features on our Salesforce platform, ensuring scalability and adherence to best practices.
  • Integrate Salesforce with Enterprise tooling and internal AWS solutions, leveraging APIs and event-based architecture.
  • Collaborate with the self-organised Salesforce team to create a prioritised roadmap for the platform, aligning with Enterprise standards and business outcomes.
  • Govern and steer the overall solution for the platform, participating in solution design forums.
Requirements
  • Proven Salesforce experience, with strong knowledge of its architecture and API governor limits.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications, specifically internal cloud applications and third-party APIs.
  • Proficiency in writing Apex classes and triggers, as well as familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System and Lightning Web Component Language (LWC).
  • Working knowledge of SFDX CLI for packaging and DevOps.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce configuration tasks, including field/page updates, workflows, validations, custom permissions, and approvals.
  • At least 2 certifications, including Platform Developer 1 and Integration Architect Certification.
