About this role
Capital One is seeking an experienced Salesforce Development Engineer to join our Salesforce platform team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Salesforce platform, ensuring it follows best practices and scales for future use cases.
Key responsibilities
- Work within our Salesforce Centre of Excellence to ensure the platform is built to meet business needs and follows best practices.
- Collaborate with a self-organised Salesforce team to design, develop, and maintain core features on our Salesforce platform.
- Integrate Salesforce with our Enterprise tooling and internal AWS solutions, with opportunities to innovate and solve real-world problems.
- Help create a prioritised roadmap for the platform to ensure alignment with Enterprise standards and meet key business outcomes.
- Govern and steer the overall solution for the platform, participating in our solution design forum.
Requirements
- Proven Salesforce experience and strong knowledge of its architecture and API governor limits.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications, specifically internal cloud applications and third-party APIs.
- Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System and Lightning Web Component Language (LWC).
- Working knowledge of SFDX CLI for packaging and Dev Ops.
- Experience supporting Salesforce configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, validations, custom permissions, and approvals.
- At least 2 certifications including Platform Developer 1 and Integration Architect Certification.
