We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Development Engineer to lead our Salesforce platform team, based in our Nottingham head office.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of our Salesforce platform, ensuring it follows best practices and scales for future use cases.
- Be the technical lead for a self-organised Salesforce team, designing, developing, and maintaining core features on our Salesforce platform.
- Develop and implement a strategy to integrate Salesforce with Enterprise tooling and internal AWS solutions, with opportunities for innovation.
- Lead the creation of a prioritised roadmap for the platform, ensuring alignment with Enterprise standards and meeting key business outcomes.
- Govern and steer the overall solution for the platform, serving as a leading figure at our solution design forum.
- Proven Salesforce experience and strong knowledge of its architecture and API governor limits.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications, specifically internal cloud applications and third-party APIs.
- Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System and Lightning Web Component Language (LWC).
- Working knowledge of SFDX CLI for packaging and Dev Ops.
- Experience supporting Salesforce configuration tasks, such as field/page updates, workflows, validations, custom permissions, and approvals.
- Certified as a Salesforce System Architect, with 4-5 specific certifications, including Platform Developer 1, Integration Architect.
- Further Salesforce training as required.

This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham office. We have a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility to work from our offices and from home. We're big on collaboration and connection, so you'll be based in our office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
