Job Title: Consultant in Palliative Medicine

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Palliative Medicine to join our team at The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, lead clinical services, and contribute to the development of our palliative care programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in palliative medicine to our patients and staff
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and guidelines for palliative care services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Participate in teaching and education programs for medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of our palliative care programs and services
Requirements:
  • Qualified Medical Practitioner with full GMC registration
  • Entry on GMC specialist register for Palliative Medicine or CCT due within 6 months of interview
  • Extensive experience in palliative medicine and leadership roles
  • Excellent clinical skills and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff
