Job Title: Palliative Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Medicine Specialist to join our team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Palliative Medicine, you will provide specialist advice, support, and education throughout the hospital, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to patients with palliative and end-of-life needs.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team, providing clinical leadership and expertise in palliative care. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice and support to hospital staff on palliative care
  • Develop and implement policies and strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients with palliative and end-of-life needs

Requirements:

  • GMC registration
  • CCT or equivalent
  • MRCP (UK) or equivalent
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Certificate / Diploma in Palliative Care
