Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heat Network Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project management commissions, managing end-to-end service delivery for large or complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project management commissions, managing end-to-end service delivery for large or complex projects.
  • Act as the primary client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical specialists, to deliver projects that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and issue resolution.
  • Identify and capitalize on business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on project financial status, ensuring prompt client invoicing and accurate utilization of Financial Management Systems (FMS).
  • Ensure key information and learning generated from each project is captured and input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consultancy project management, with a focus on Heat Network and Decentralized Energy projects.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering DE schemes across various client organizations, meeting project or programme Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience in overcoming barriers to DE through multiple project stages, such as feasibility, commercialization, procurement, and project delivery.
  • Working knowledge and experience in DE solutions, covering multiple technologies, including heat networks, solar photovoltaics, heat pumps, energy storage, demand-side flexibility, smart charging, and vehicle-to-grid charging.
  • Familiarity with Government policies surrounding Heat Networks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications, such as RICS Chartership, NEC accreditation, or other relevant qualifications.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is £60,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
