To oversee, manage and coordinate the Great Places Heat Network Portfolio including metering and billing of all networks; managing the third party billing coordinator; work with others to develop our long term Heat Network strategy development, policies and procedures

**What you'll be doing**:

- Bringing together and leading internal partnerships with various departments and teams with regards to heat networks, working collaboratively across the business.
- Work with consultants and contractors to implement improvement measures, providing internal project management. Lead on the delivery of capital improvement works, linked to successful funding bids, working with consultants and contractors.
- With regards to heat networks be responsible for collaborative working to implement improvement to Heat Networks / metering and billing systems and services.
- Work with internal teams on informing suitable budgets for service charge setting, responding to queries throughout the year from customers / internal departments.
- Ensure Great Places operates in accordance with OPSS and Ofgem compliance, regulations and requirements (once determined - believed to be similar to The Heat Trust standards).
- Carry out the investigation and manage resolution of heat network complaints liaising internally and working with the Energy Ombudsman where necessary
- Carry out reviews of system performance (efficiency/comfort/carbon emissions) against KPI's
- Work collaboratively with the Energy & Carbon Manager to develop plans to improve efficiencies and decarbonise systems.
- Submit OPSS/ Ofgem notifications.
- Work in partnership with the Procurement Team to oversee procurement of metering and billing services.
- Keep up to date on regulatory requirements and standards and report on changes
- Work with Communications team to provide customers with accurate information about their heat network and performance.
- Represent Great Places at The Heat Network forums and other relevant groups.
- Working closely with Energy and Carbon Manager and Energy Data Officer, to ensure accurate energy consumption data and provide feedback on improvements, meter replacements, energy & carbon reduction etc
- Ensuring that Great Places and metering & billing/ payment processing contractors are compliant.
- Establish KPI data (metering and billing, consumption and efficiency), and report internally
- Working within the Assets directorate liaising with the building safety team regarding matters of compliance, maintenance and repairs.

**What you'll need**:

- Previous experience of heat network billing and/or operation in a position of responsibility.
- Experience of cross organisational working and engaging stakeholders to gather information, resolve problems and communicate across teams / departments;
- Data analysis and report writing;
- Experience of working within a compliance framework;
- Use of full range of Microsoft Office;
- Familiarity with current legislation regarding heat networks;
- Understanding of energy tariffs, charges and billing;
- Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure;
- Good organisation skills and ability to time-manage work load
- Able to deliver a high standard of customer service;
- Project a positive image of Great Places.
