About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Team Leader to join our team at Co-op Digital. As a Customer Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the store team, coaching and supervising Customer Team Members, and delivering great customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and thoughtful service to customers, working in our in-store bakery and managing the store when needed.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the capabilities of the team, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued and respected.
  • Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational, managing diligence checks and stock accuracy to provide a great shopping experience for customers.
  • Support the Store Manager by deputising when they are not working and delivering a variety of HR processes.
  • Lead the introduction of new products and services in the store, working closely with the team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback.
  • Build relationships with customers and the local community, supporting the Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
Requirements
