Receptionist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all guest accounts are set up correctly with a valid method of payment. This includes obtaining sufficient advance authorization for all credit cards.
Delivering exceptional service excellence is crucial in this role. The successful candidate will handle all customers' requests and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their satisfaction and a high level of service.
The Receptionist will be proficient in Front Office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations. They will also provide an accurate handover to returning colleagues at the end of the shift.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of computerized PMS systems and ensure that the system is always up-to-date. They will handle guest complaints in a careful and courteous manner, providing Front Office Management with sufficient backup information.
The Receptionist will adhere to 5-star standards at all times, maximizing revenue through upselling rooms and cross-selling to food and beverage outlets.
RequirementsThe successful candidate will have:
- Front Office experience within a 4/5-star environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attentiveness, a well-groomed appearance, initiative, loyalty, maturity, respect for confidentiality and discretion, a positive attitude, and dependability
- Enthusiasm in delivering service excellence
- The ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- An excellent command of English, both spoken and written
- A polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests

The successful candidate must be eligible to live and work in the UK and be in possession of a current work visa.
