NPD Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized NPD Coordinator to join our team at GBR Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end NPD / NPI process, including samples creation and planning, recipe and specifications creation, and following the NPD Gate process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage focused development of new products, ensuring they meet commercial guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Senior Management team to understand market developments and trends, as well as target consumer profiles and routes to market.
  • Research and create new innovative on-trend food products that align with business plans and current marketplace developments.
  • Challenge existing NPD / NPI processes and re-engineer where necessary.
  • Effectively manage the NPD / R&D process through the Stage Gate Process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of food industry regulations and standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Mathematical and numerate skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel is necessary.
