Job Title: Community Coach - Disability Football

Sportscotland is seeking a motivated and experienced coach to join our team and deliver high-quality football coaching sessions to people with disabilities in Scotland.

About the Role:
This is a fixed-term position for one year, working evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will lead and/or assist in delivering para football sessions, focusing on the development of physical, social, and emotional skills for individuals with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver para football coaching programmes tailored to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities.
  • Build strong relationships with the Sportscotland team, schools, partners, and service users to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions and participant progress.
  • Contribute to the development of Sportscotland's disability football programme.

Requirements:
An HNC in a related sports field is essential, along with experience working with adults, running sports sessions, and working for a charitable organisation. A PVG application will be required as part of the hiring process.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
