About Our Client

Our client is a leading player in the industrial and manufacturing industry with a global presence and headquarters in Bath. They are renowned for their high-quality products and commitment to innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including customer and supplier agreements, terms and conditions, heads of terms, and non-disclosure agreements.

• Supporting the sales and purchase teams on contract review and contract management.

• Advising on potential disputes.

Company Secretarial Function

• Supporting the company secretarial function, including share transfers and corporate filings at Companies House.

• Assisting with draft Board and Management agendas and minutes.

• Assisting with the organisation and running of the AGM.

Other Legal Matters

• Involvement in various other legal areas, including property/lease matters, trusts, environmental queries, and intellectual property.

• Assisting with the development of company precedents and policies.

• Providing support on departmental administrative matters.

• Advising on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Completed LLB and at least 6 months' experience in commercial contracts, corporate, or commercial litigation.

• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.

• Methodical, organised, and thorough, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capable of using own initiative, with good communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Open and approachable with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
