About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing invaluable support to children and young people, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet the needs of children and young people in line with OFSTED regulations
  • Organise and facilitate social activities, such as days out, community work, and holidays
  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of the home, including laundry, housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, and baking
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, sharing ideas and best practice
  • Work closely with our clinical team and local authorities

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (due to the location and nature of the work)
  • Life skills and experience working with children or in health and social care (although full training and support will be provided)

  • A competitive starting rate of £12.54 per hour, depending on qualifications
  • £30 sleep-in rate (2-3 sleep-ins per week)
