**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Expert to join our team as Group Secretary. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a prestigious client in Merseyside, supporting the legal and governance department.

As Group Secretary, you will ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring smooth and accurate information flow between all group entities. You will also develop and update internal corporate governance and compliance policies and procedures, providing advice and guidance to business units.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A salary of £90-95k DOE is available, along with bonus opportunities and 25 days holiday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including maintaining up-to-date statutory registers.
  • Develop and update internal corporate governance and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on the implementation of corporate transactions and group restructurings.
  • Support the boards of directors and board committees through the drafting of board papers and packs.
