Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of care staff to provide high-quality care and support to children with different abilities
- Develop and implement care plans to promote development, education, and social engagement
- Work closely with key professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential home, including staff supervision and training
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
- Proven experience in a residential care setting, preferably with children with different abilities
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work creatively and think outside the box to meet the needs of children with complex needs
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including the Children's Home Regulations 2015
