We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Home Manager to lead our Children with Different Abilities - Short Breaks Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children with severe learning disabilities and diverse abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of care staff to provide high-quality care and support to children with different abilities
  • Develop and implement care plans to promote development, education, and social engagement
  • Work closely with key professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential home, including staff supervision and training
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a residential care setting, preferably with children with different abilities
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work creatively and think outside the box to meet the needs of children with complex needs
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including the Children's Home Regulations 2015
