Business Support Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Business Support Officer to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with managers and front-line staff across the early help service.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and be able to maintain complex documents, reports, and correspondence using standard formats and software.
Main Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and provide a welcoming first point of contact, dealing confidently and constructively with enquiries in an articulate and helpful manner.
- Maintain accurate records and documents, ensuring all new family details are registered and processed on all appropriate systems.
- Communicate effectively and act as a point of contact for the service, resolving problems within the scope of the role and escalating to line manager as required.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
- A competitive salary of £33,291 per annum, with further incremental increases after passing probation.
