Community Social Worker - Home Based

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work as a Community Social Worker with Charles Hunter Associates, providing critical support services to individuals in need. A minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience and at least 1 year of experience as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) are required for this position.

About the Role

As a member of the County Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for providing timely interventions in emergency situations, working closely with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • A degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is a fundamental requirement, along with a minimum of 1 year's experience in an AMHP role.
  • It is essential to have completed AMHP training and possess experience as an AMHP, in addition to obtaining Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
  • A valid UK driver's license and reliable transportation are crucial for this role.
