GBA5 EntServ UK Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled On-Site Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential technical support to users within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As an On-Site Desktop Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for resolving technical issues and requests related to desktop hardware and software. You will work closely with our clients to ensure seamless operations and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and effective resolution for a wide range of desktop incidents, encompassing both hardware and software problems.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely completion within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with users, providing regular updates on the status of their requests and resolving issues to their satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Operations Manager to escalate complex technical issues and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and participating in implementation initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong technical background and excellent interpersonal skills. You should possess a proven ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10 and later).
  • Experience with common software applications such as Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat Suite, and Lotus Notes.
  • Familiarity with remote control software and networking concepts (TCP/IP).
  • Knowledge of antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Technical Microsoft accreditations and ITIL awareness are highly desirable.

A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, as you may be required to travel to client sites.
