Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor the company's food safety and quality policy through regular internal audits of the QMS system, GMP, Fabrication, and Hygiene audits.
  • Update the Quality Management System to meet internal, customer, and new BRCGS accreditation requirements.
  • Ensure all complaints are recorded, investigated, and monitored to identify trends.
  • Conduct training of key personnel against the requirements of the QMS.
  • Ensure laboratory testing schedules (water, environment, products) are maintained.
  • Ensure shelf-life monitoring of existing and newly developed products is undertaken and results are assessed.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a Food Science-related subject or equivalent food industry qualifications.
  • Experienced Quality Assurance Manager in food manufacturing.
  • HACCP Qualified to Level 3, plus ideally experience as a HACCP Team Leader.
