Financial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at The Calico Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the production of management information to stakeholders, ensuring they are well-informed with timely financial information.
- Develop and improve existing management information to enhance the understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial impact of decisions.
- Manage a small team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective accountancy services.
- Collaborate with operational teams to develop financial information and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure adequate financial controls are in place and maintain a Value for Money (VFM) culture.
- Qualified Accountant with experience in the charity and not-for-profit sectors.
- Previous experience of managing small groups of companies or SMEs would be beneficial.
- Substantial accountancy experience, including the production of management accounts and budget setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
