Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team at BG Solicitors LLP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law and be able to provide expert advice on a wide range of legal matters.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Conduct thorough file reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering guidelines and CQS compliance.
  • Liaise with lender panels to maintain strong relationships.
Commercial Transactions:
  • Manage a caseload of commercial transactions, including sale and purchase of commercial freehold and leasehold premises.
  • Advise on all areas of commercial landlord and tenant matters.
  • Assist with acquisition and sale of property for development, land promotion, options, conditional contracts, and overage.
  • Act as a liaison for lenders and pension schemes.
  • Provide corporate support services.
  • Take instructions on new matters and manage client relationships.
Team Collaboration and Development:
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for colleagues.
  • Foster a culture of equality and fairness within the team.
  • Communicate effectively with support staff and delegate tasks as needed.
  • Train and develop junior colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Achieve personal targets and contribute to the team's success.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and agents.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Competitive salary: £35,000.00 per year.
