Commercial Property Solicitor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team at BG Solicitors LLP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law and be able to provide expert advice on a wide range of legal matters.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Compliance
    • Conducting and reporting on file reviews for fellow fee earners where necessary
    • Ensuring money laundering guidance is adhered to and understood
    • Ensuring CQS compliance
    • Liaising with Lender Panels
  2. Commercial
    • Running and managing your own case load to Budget
    • Sale and purchase of commercial freehold and leasehold premises
    • All areas of commercial Landlord & Tenant matters
    • Acquisition and sale of property for development, land promotion, options, conditional contracts and overage
    • Acting for lenders
    • Acting for pension schemes
    • Corporate support
    • Taking instructions on new matters
  3. Other
    • Responsible for the health, safety and wellbeing of staff and colleagues
    • Responsible for treating all employees equally and fairly
    • Communicate and delegate work into support staff, including via dictation
    • Have the ability to train junior colleagues
    • Achieving personal targets
    • Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with colleagues, clients and agents

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
