Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team at BG Solicitors LLP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law and be able to provide expert advice on a wide range of legal matters.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Conduct thorough file reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering guidelines and CQS compliance.
  • Liaise with lender panels to maintain strong relationships and ensure seamless transactions.
Commercial Transactions:
  • Manage a caseload of commercial transactions, including sale and purchase of commercial freehold and leasehold premises.
  • Advise on all areas of commercial landlord and tenant matters, including acquisition and sale of property for development.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
Corporate Support and Client Relations:
  • Provide expert advice on corporate support matters, including acting for lenders and pension schemes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and agents to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with support staff, including via dictation, to ensure seamless workflow.
Health, Safety, and Wellbeing:
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all staff and colleagues.
  • Promote equality and fairness in the workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in commercial law and property transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
