Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for the commercial management of 2-3 projects concurrently, with individual values typically between £500k and £5M. The successful candidate will work closely with our Commercial Director and other teams across the business to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the commercial aspects of 2-3 projects concurrently, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Work closely with the Commercial Director and other teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to the Commercial Director and other stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities associated with projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in commercial project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A positive and ambitious mindset, with a strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of our company.
