About the Position

Premier Work Support is currently seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Advisor to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company meets its health, safety, quality, and environmental obligations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety regulations, with extensive knowledge of HSE standards, risk management, and compliance. A highly motivated and organized individual with excellent written and communication skills is required to excel in this position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Auditing production processes and equipment to ensure employee training is up-to-date
  • Developing and implementing training plans to enhance employee knowledge and skills
  • Assessing risks and creating safety plans to mitigate potential hazards
  • Meeting company health and safety goals and objectives
  • Conducting new starter health and safety inductions and providing ongoing support
  • Maintaining ISO14001, ISO9001, and HSE documentation for audits
  • Experience of ISO auditing and producing method statements and risk assessments
  • Maintaining RIDDOR records and KPIs, as well as ensuring first aid equipment is kept safe and up-to-date
  • Maintaining fire drill and PAT testing records

The ideal candidate will be proficient in IT applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and have excellent presentation and communication skills. Experience in writing reports and policies, as well as knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices, is also desirable.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Advisor or similar role
  • Previous engineering/technical experience is essential
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification
  • IT Literate (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and deliver training plans
  • Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
  • Experience in writing reports and policies
  • Organisational skills with great attention to detail
