Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Overview:
">We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Reed Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
">About the Role:
">This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality control and process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
">Key Responsibilities:
">You will coordinate with the quality teams to ensure all products meet production deadlines, investigate root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions. You will also manage quality targets, generate KPIs, and maintain the Calibration System. Additionally, you will work with suppliers to ensure they meet quality specifications and liaise with customers over quality concerns.
">Requirements:
">The ideal candidate will have experience in fine limit sheet metal inspection, strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, and first principle measuring techniques. Experience of auditing to ISO 9001 level is desirable.
