Job Description:

  • Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our team as a Senior Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice to support business objectives, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and managing contracts and agreements.
  • Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide support to business stakeholders to review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements;
  2. Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations and data protection policies;
  3. Liaise with external partners to manage company secretarial duties;
  4. Provide legal guidance and support on employment law matters;
  5. Monitor regulatory developments and advise on regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years' post-qualification experience in UK commercial law;
  • Proven technical knowledge of procurement and supply chain contracts, company secretarial practices, and GDPR regulations;
  • Ability to work independently and advise on a variety of matters;
  • Experience in managing general insurance programmes and employment law matters is beneficial.
