Production Coordinator

Weekend Shift 29 hours - Sat/Sun - (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) rotating plus 5 additional hours in the week (Flexible)
Mars (New) is seeking a highly skilled Production Coordinator to join our factory team. If you have a background in leadership within a manufacturing environment and are looking for the opportunity to take on new challenges while developing and progressing personally, this could be the ideal role for you.
- Experience in leadership within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Experience in an FMCG or high-speed production environment.
- SAP literacy is desirable, or a good ability to learn new systems.
- Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handover with incoming and outgoing Production Coordinators.
- Organise shift manning, (lunch breaks & cover).
- Planning Meeting attendance, and regular connections with Scheduling Department.
- Production Technical Operator.
- Escalations, Safety & Quality, update systems as required.
- End of shift handover report.
- Holiday bookings and management.
- Management of Purchase orders (Equipment, Tools, Training, Services).
