Production Coordinator

Weekend Shift 29 hours - Sat/Sun - (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) rotating plus 5 additional hours in the week (Flexible)
Mars Wrigley is seeking a highly skilled Production Coordinator to join our factory team in Plymouth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the production team to achieve high-quality production standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with the scheduling department to plan and coordinate production schedules.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of production data and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Manage and coordinate the purchase of equipment, tools, and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft-based systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
