Job Title: Court of Protection Paralegal

Duncan Lewis Solicitors, a leading law firm in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Court of Protection Paralegal to join our team. As a Court of Protection Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients and their families in navigating the complexities of the Court of Protection.

Our Court of Protection team has a strong reputation for delivering exceptional results and providing outstanding client care. We are committed to ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support throughout the process.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in law and relevant experience in a Court of Protection role. You will be responsible for assisting with Court of Protection matters, including personal injury trusts, statutory wills, and gift applications. You will also be required to attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases, as well as deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is able to work effectively in a team environment. You will have excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to use your own initiative and seek guidance when needed.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Court of Protection matters, including personal injury trusts, statutory wills, and gift applications
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases
  • Deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures
  • Implement recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews
  • Ensure compliance with file management
