We are seeking an enthusiastic team-player to join our wonderful home as an Activity and Wellbeing Lead. Your main role will be to plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activity and occupation to all our residents. You will also guide, develop and coach our staff in engagement and activity with residents, so that every day is filled with magic moments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading on, and delivering, high quality meaningful activity for all residents
  • Ensuring people living with dementia enjoy the same opportunities for engagement and activity as other residents
  • Stimulating excellent interaction and communication between staff and residents
  • Promoting and developing mealtimes as highlight of the day
  • Creating and maintaining excellent community links

You will receive individual support, guidance and investment in your development to ensure you have the confidence and skills to deliver high quality activity and engagement to residents.

Applicants must have a positive forward-thinking approach, have the ability to enthuse and guide others, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Care home experience is an advantage, as is any previous experience of providing activity or leading others. You will also need be assertive, yet flexible.
