About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging and Trims Coordinator to join our team at Joules. As a key member of our packaging team, you will be responsible for sourcing packaging and trims that meet our brand image standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sourcing of packaging and trims to meet brand image standards.
  • Resolve artwork and packaging queries and provide support to buyers to deliver within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to packaging products to predefined requirements and specifications.
  • Manage suppliers to identify packaging solutions and opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality standards.
  • Negotiate costs and lead times with suppliers.
  • Develop and implement packaging and trims strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with designers, buyers, and creative services teams to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective development of new branding.
  • Research and identify new sustainable and innovative packaging solutions.
  • Coordinate and manage packaging stock.
  • Work cross-functionally with designers, buyers, creative services teams, marketing, retail, and showroom teams to facilitate seamless project delivery aligned with key business objectives.
  • Lead all packaging projects.
  • Provide weekly packaging inventory updates.
  • Manage item forecasting and delivery of items to the required location to facilitate bulk production.

Requirements:

  • Cost negotiation and buying experience.
  • Experience in a similar role working with packaging and trims.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be a team player.
  • Fashion Technology qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work at pace and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic nature with the ability to adapt and work collaboratively with our team.
  • Genuine excitement about the brand.
  • Able to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships across the wider teams.
  • Understanding of commercial acumen, customer, and market positioning.
  • Resourcefulness and drive to make the role your own.

Location:

This is a full-time role based at our Market Harborough Head Office in Leicestershire and you will need to be able to be present in the office 5 days per week.
