Compliance Risk Management Specialist

Role Overview

Serves as a key member of the Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) team, responsible for establishing and maintaining a risk management framework that aligns with the firm's risk appetite and protects its franchise.

Coordinates with ICRM product and function coverage teams to develop and apply CRM program solutions that meet business and customer needs in a manner consistent with the Citi program framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews ICRM Training materials and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, and to identify and address compliance risks.
  • Coordinates with ICRM Training Leads to execute the ICRM Training Plan, in partnership with Business Content Owner.
  • Supports Business Content Owner in developing accurate training audiences.
  • Manages the relationship between Business Content Owner and Instructional Design team.
  • Coordinates with Learning Implementation Services team to release and maintain ICRM Training.
  • Participates in designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining best-in-class Compliance programs, policies, and practices for ICRM.
  • Analyzes complex comparative data, prepares, and presents regional and global reports related to compliance risk assessments, and monitors compliance-related issues.
  • Investigates and responds to compliance risk issues, including regulatory inquiries, prepares required documentation, and makes recommendations to senior management on how to proceed.
  • Oversees the monitoring of adherence to Citi's Compliance Risk Policies and relevant procedures, and prepares, edits, and maintains Compliance program-related materials.
  • Stays abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy changes to identify new key risk areas.
  • Operates with a limited level of direct supervision.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies.
  • A self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive individual.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
