About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead our client, Headway Norfolk and Waveney, a dynamic and impactful non-profit organization dedicated to empowering brain injury survivors and their families.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, vision, and expertise in managing complex organizations, ideally within the charitable sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic vision and leadership to the operation and development of Headway Norfolk and Waveney, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Ensure the effective management and administration of the organization, within the governance and accountability frameworks established by the Board of Trustees.
  • Work closely with the Chair to enable the Trustees to fulfill their duties and legal responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement a bold and ambitious new strategy, driving growth and impact in a challenging funding environment.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in senior leadership roles, preferably within the charitable sector.
  • Proven track record of implementing strategic visions, managing budgets, and leading teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze systems and procedures, implementing effective changes as necessary.
  • Good understanding of company and charity law.
