Job Overview:

Austin Fraser is seeking a skilled Human Resources Administrator to join our team in Central London. This role involves managing pre-employment checks, onboarding processes, and probation procedures in line with our school's policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage pre-employment checks and onboarding processes for new employees.
  2. Oversee the probation process, providing guidance to managers and maintaining relevant documentation.
  3. Ensure compliance with ISI Regulations by accurately inputting data into the Single Central Record.
  4. Administer DBS records and conduct Update Service checks, maintaining the Single Central Record.
  5. Process teaching sickness absences and other types of absences in iTrent.
  6. Maintain up-to-date records in iSAMS and iTrent/SCR systems.
  7. Coordinate the transition of starters and leavers with the Operations Administrator.
  8. Support recruitment efforts for teaching vacancies, including advertising and interviewing candidates.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate staff training data.
  10. Maintain a comprehensive library of job descriptions and person specifications.
  11. Monitor the HR inbox and escalate urgent matters when necessary.
  12. Safeguard confidential information and maintain secure HR files and records.
  13. Complete payroll duties in accordance with deadlines.

  • Experience in recruitment and/or HR.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated salary: £16 per hour.
