Lead Care Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Care Coordinator to join our team in Bedford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating care services for vulnerable children and young people.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring that high-quality care and support is delivered to meet the individual needs of each child or young person. You will work closely with multi-agency teams to develop and implement effective care plans and provide supervision and support to staff.
You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children facing emotional and behavioural difficulties and contribute to the development of our organisation's approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate care services for vulnerable children and young people
- Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams
- Provide supervision and support to staff
- Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience working with children in the last 5 years and at least 1 year at senior level
- Supervision or management experience
- Working with children, young people, and their families
- Inter-agency work
